A beautiful, natural home.

Miriam and Manse

A clay plaster finish.

Miriam and Manse sought a beautiful, natural finish for their project, opting for earth clay plaster layered on top of wood chip clay. The wood chips used were harvested right on site. The final outcome is striking, boasting a deep, toxin-free, durable finish that offers both moisture and sound resistance.

Energy Efficient.

The Adams Road House is incredibly well insulated, requiring only a fraction of the normal amount of fuel to heat in the winter. Mir and Manse have chosen to heat with firewood, a sustainable, renewable source of heat in this area of the country. Triple pane windows help keep you feeling comfortable and feel warm to the touch throughout the cold season. This high-performance building not only excels in the winter but also remains cool in the summer months.
