SEED Design/Build is a new company—with deep roots. SEED represents an exciting new direction in residential construction. We aren’t afraid to go against the grain: we hire local craftspeople, source lumber and insulation from New England, and build with real materials (no toxic off-gassing, solvents, or glues). Our team has been building high performance for nearly a decade; we thoroughly understand the science, and are ready to help you navigate the challenges of building a healthy, thermally comfortable dwelling in a cold climate.

SEED Design/Build LLC is headed by designer/builder Drew Clark. Drew has been in the building trades for over 15 years. Since then he has become an expert in timber framing and high-performance construction and design.

Matt Donaldson (Refound Works, LLC) has been building and making art for most of his life. An extremely skilled craftsman, specializing in fine carpentry, custom furniture and cabinetry.
